The lowdown on the 2012 host venues
The stunning spectacle that is the RC44 Championship will tour one new city and four firm favourites in 2012.
A mixture of lake, ocean and harbour racing is sure to bring thrilling, high-octane action to the five host venues, delighting the crowds of onlookers and proving a real challenge for competing teams.
The 2012 Tour starts where it left off in 2011, Puerto Calero in Lanzarote, followed by the debut venue of Cascais in Portugal. The Tour then moves on to familiar territory, returning to Lake Traunsee in Austria for the fifth consecutive year before heading north to the sailing mecca of Marstrand Island in Sweden.
The final event of the Tour and the RC44 World Championships will be held in the beautiful setting of Rovinj, Croatia.
RC44 Puerto Calero Cup
8 – 12 February

Cascais RC44 Cup 2012
28 March – 1 April
Welcoming the class for the first time, the bay of Cascais, Portugal, will host event two of the 2012 Championship Tour season.
RC44 Austria Cup
30 May – 3 June
Returning to Lake Traunsee, Austria for the fifth consecutive year, the RC44 fleet will once again take to the flat water, to face unpredictable weather conditions and often tricky tactical predicaments that can catch out even the most experienced skipper.

18 – 22 July

Adris RC44 World Championships, Croatia
3 – 7 October
After this venue proved a fantastic host to the class in 2011, Rovinj, Croatia returns to the circuit for the 2012 Adris RC44 World Championships.
